What Is Matta?
Reusable Menstrual Pads for Transgender Men
That time of the month, menstruating, is uncomfortable, to begin with. Stress is added for transmasculine men because there have not been menstrual products targeted to them in the past. Matta is here to change that. Traditional pads are designed to sit comfortably on feminine underwear. But what about those who menstruate and wear boxers? Matta is the reusable menstrual pad that specifically adheres to the shape of boxers. We want all to feel free to be free at all times.
Matta is inspired by the Mata Mata turtle! They are freshwater turtles found in South America. The species commonly are gender fluid which is a great inspiration to us. In addition, we want all our customers to have the ability to break out of their shells!
